Share data and connect your people

Resilient, secure data connections and multi-site networking solutions

When your internet connection is too important to fail, and downtime is not an option, you need a fast, secure, reliable data connection. Our Ethernet products are dedicated to your business and offer symmetrical download and upload speeds, backed by round-the clock-support. For sharing confidential data across multiple sites, we can help you create secure private networking solutions that offer access to central resources for both home and field workers.

Ethernet Point-to-Point

Our Ethernet point-to-point solutions are perfect for connecting offices in different locations using dedicated Ethernet technology, ensuring your data is more secure and network performance is reliable. Point to Point bandwidth options range up to 10 Gbps.

Full Fibre Ethernet

Dedicated end-to-end full fibre connectivity with an unlimited download limit, up to 1 Gbps symmetrical upload/download speeds, 24/7/365 support and a free static IP.

Ethernet over FTTC

Dedicated cost-effective connectivity which uses fibre or copper to connect you to the nearest street cabinet and then to the full fibre Ethernet network. Enjoy an unlimited download limit, up to 20 Mbps symmetrical upload/download speeds, 24/7/365 support and a free static IP.

Ethernet in the First Mile

Dedicated high-speed connectivity which uses multiple copper pairs to connect you to the full fibre Ethernet network. Benefit from an unlimited download limit, up to 35 Mbps symmetrical upload/download speeds, 24/7/365 support and a free static IP.

SD-WAN

The days of relying on the traditional hub-and-spoke WAN architectures are long gone. Free your connectivity and strengthen your security defences. The future of WAN is software defined.

A dedicated internet line that is not shared with any other party, giving as close to direct internet access as is possible and supplying guaranteed symmetrical speeds (where download and upload are the same) at the point of use, at exactly the speed ordered.
They are essentially the same. Dedicated business internet access via a superfast fibre Ethernet cable is also known as a Leased Line, Ethernet or Dedicated Internet Access.
Download speed is the rate that information is received over your Ethernet line. For example, the time it takes to download software from the internet onto your computer is determined by the download speed available.

Upload speed is the rate that information is sent over your Ethernet line. For example, the time it takes to send high-resolution images from your computer to another is determined by the upload speed available.

On an Ethernet line, upload and download speed is symmetrical, this means if your line is 20 Mbps, your download speed is 20 Mbps and your upload speed is the same at 20 Mbps.
Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) - Where fibre Ethernet is not available or would be expensive to install, EFM provides an end-to-end solution using multiple copper wires to connect your premises directly to the Ethernet core network.

Ethernet over Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (EoFTTC) or Generic Ethernet Access (GEA) is a high-velocity hybrid solution where existing fibre or copper cables connect your business to the nearest street cabinet, and a dedicated Ethernet line carries data to the core network.

Full Fibre Ethernet - Our ultimate connectivity end-to-end fibre solution offers unparalleled levels of reliability and speed and can be implemented in most locations regardless of whether or not fibre is available.

Ethernet Point-to-Point - Point-to-point solutions are perfect for connecting two or more offices in different locations, ensuring that your data is more secure and that your network performance is more reliable.
Determining how much bandwidth your business needs depends on many factors including number of employees, as well as the type of internet operations your employees use. The following operations affect bandwidth: email, cloud services, online banking, VoIP, uploading and downloading files, web browsing, remote access, video conferencing.

Light usage would be basic email and web browsing. Moderate usage would add file downloading, streaming music/video, using the cloud, and VoIP. Strong delivers all of the above plus large file downloads and interactive web conferencing. Heavy usage covers the same as strong plus additional high bandwidth demand, heavy use of internet applications and multiple devices per user.
Full fibre Ethernet is an unmatched, enterprise-grade solution delivered over an actual Ethernet fibre line direct into your premises, dedicated specifically for your use. Fibre broadband (and ADSL broadband) is a shared, consumer level service delivered over copper (contrary to the “fibre” name). Ethernet will give you guaranteed speeds, uptimes, latency and jitter, something which is not possible to do over traditional broadband.
Yes, a fibre line can be built and delivered to order – traditional telephony and cabinets are not used on a typical Ethernet install.
We will not take over an existing Ethernet order from another supplier mainly because of service guarantees and continuity reasons; as the fibre has been in the ground, the only way to ensure the fibre is able to uphold its SLAs is by supplying a new connection. However, if there is existing fibre infrastructure, we can test the line and if it meets our standards this can reduce the connection time to as little as six weeks.
Yes. Simply contact your dedicated account manager to arrange the upgrade. It takes around 20 working days to increase the bandwidth from the point of order. The only exception to this is when you need to upgrade from a 100 Mbps bearer to a 1 Gbps bearer. A 100 Mbps bearer cannot supply bandwidth above 100 Mbps, whereas a 1 Gbps is a much thicker fibre line that can supply whatever speed you choose, up to that maximum of 1 Gbps.
Not all suppliers have the infrastructure in all areas, but as we aggregate all UK suppliers, we will look at which suppliers are available in your area or will bring your site On-Net, to find you the best plan in terms of service costs and delivery times.
A dedicated line provides guaranteed speeds and service levels as well as vastly improved fix times if anything was to go wrong. This enables businesses to embrace technology and get the most out of bandwidth-hungry real-time applications.

An Ethernet line will reduce your hardware and engineering maintenance costs, and your business will be running over a highly-stable, highly-resilient line. Eliminating contention problems and reducing downtime - from days to as little as four hours - boosts operational efficiencies and will more than cover the cost investment of the dedicated internet service.

The options with Ethernet are endless; you can run your telephony over it, move to a cloud-based CRM and operate any number of hosted services, applications and platforms giving your business the boost you need to set yourself apart from your competitors.

More about Networking

The difference the leased line has made to the school has been nothing short of amazing. So much so that Bungay High School is about to become one of the first schools in Suffolk to move our entire infrastructure to the cloud.
